M11 is an open star cluster also known as the Wild Duck Cluster. Another open cluster in this constellation is M26. It is easily seen through a small telescope.

delta: Although this star has no common name, it is a famous variable star and the prototype of an entire class of objects called delta Scuti stars. These stars exhibit small fluctuations in brightness over short (a few hours) time periods.
