This constellation is full of globular clusters, specifically M9, M10, M12, M14, M19, M62 and M107. Binoculars or a small telescope are necessary in order to see any of these objects.
The open cluster IC 4665 is visible through binoculars. NGC 6633 is another open star cluster that can be seen only with optical assistance.
Despite being only 6 light years distant, Barnard's Star is too faint to be seen by the naked eye.
