M35 is an open cluster which is easy to see through binoculars.

The planetary nebula NGC 2392 is also known as the Eskimo Nebula and is just visible through a small telescope.

Stars With (Un)Common Names

alpha
Castor appears as a binary through a small telescope but is actually a six-star system.
beta
Pollux is a first magnitude star and actually is brighter than Castor.

Mebsuta

Mekbuda is a Cepheid variable with a period of around 10 days.
eta
Propus is a pulsating red giant. W. Herschel discovered the planet Uranus on 13 March 1781 near this star.

Meteor Shower Radiants

Although few leave trains, the medium-speed Geminids are nearly as colourful as the Perseids in Perseus. This shower is unusual in that it is associated with the minor planet 3200 Phaeton instead of a comet. The radiant is near the star Castor.
