Meteor Shower Radiants

Like all of the other meteor showers, the Quadrantids are named after the constellation in which its radiant appears. However, the constellation Quadrans Muralis, the mural or wall quadrant, no longer exists. These meteors are moderately bright and travel at medium speed. The radiant is in the empty reaches north of Boötes and thus is circumpolar for many northern hemisphere observers. Interestingly, this shower may have the same origin as the Delta Aquarids in Aquarius.
